Is smartphone addiction a real disorder? It is definitely a disorder according to Wikipedia: “Mobile phone overuse (or problem mobile phone use) is a dependence syndrome seen among certain mobile phone users. Some mobile phone users exhibit problematic behaviors related to substance use disorders. These behaviors can include preoccupation with mobile communication, excessive money or time spent on mobile phones, use of mobile phones in socially or physically inappropriate situations such as driving an automobile. Coupons & Freebies

I absolutely love receiving coupons and free samples in the mail and would consider that to be my second online addiction (only behind entering online contests. See previous post My Online Addiction: Contests). I sign up for a lot of daily emails that notify of new coupons & freebies. I also follow the deal-finder accounts on Facebook and Twitter for up-to-the-minute updates. There is nothing more fun than visiting the grocery store with a whole bunch of coupons and saving money on things that I would be purchasing anyways.
